Middle School Ministry

m12stone-200Middle School Ministry at 12Stone Church is a BIG Deal and it matters every single week.  As a matter of fact, we believe these three years (grades 6-8) are crucial in a student’s life and we want to do all that we can to build a foundation that will carry them the rest of their lives.  We believe that middle school students need to be challenged and they are world changers!!

It is our desire for middle school students to be inspired through the message of the Gospel, that they value sharing life with their friends and students from their school, and they understand their purpose to give their lives away by living for God outside of the walls of 12Stone Church.  This is THE PLACE for middle school students!

  • Wednesday nights from 7-9pm

Our middle school ministry environment on Sunday mornings at Central Campus.  This service exists to give students a place to discuss their faith in a safe environment.  Through table led discussion where students sit according to their grade and gender, they have the opportunity to make new friends and learn more about the Christian life.

  • Sundays at 9am in Cornerstone Theater.

The Christian life isn’t meant to be lived alone.  Our team of adult leaders and staff are committed to making each student feel connected to our ministry.  Every Wednesday night immediately following the message the students go to connection groups.  Our hope is to make a large ministry feel small through a personal connection with students from their school and a loving adult leader.

Life Groups are for students that would like to go even deeper.  They are small groups and are a time of in depth bible study, accountability and development.  These groups are structured by grade and gender. Groups run for 12 weeks in the Fall and Spring semesters. These groups meet on:

  • Wednesdays 6:00-6:50pm
  • Sundays 4:30-5:45pm

We believe that baptism is a great next step after saying yes to Jesus. Baptisms here at M12 happen monthly.

There are many opportunities to serve through our Middle School Ministry. We encourage our Middle School students to serve in the Children’s Ministries at 12Stone Church. We also have several serve days and various opportunities throughout the year.

Parent Involvement

One word: Balance. What is the right balance in spending time with your child relaxing, studying God’s Word, correcting, praying with, teaching life skills, and everything else you need to do? It’s one of the toughest targets to hit with middle school students. That is why we host parent training seminars, encourage parents to be involved in weekly programs, and serve as partners to make sure that the middle school years are some of the best for your family.

Middle school and high school students participating in student ministry events that are held off-site, away from their 12Stone campus, are required to have this form on file in the 12Stone student ministry office to be allowed to participate in those events. If the event is over 50 miles away from their 12Stone campus, the form must be notarized. Forms are kept and used for one calendar year and are destroyed at the end of that year. Download the current form here, have it notarized if applicable, and mail the original form to the 12Stone Student Ministry office:
