Freedom Groups

Freedom groups meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:45pm in Studio B at the Lawrenceville Campus. Please note, you do not need to register. We hold a newcomers group every Tuesday night so you may start the next Tuesday you are able.

From Highway 20, follow the parking signs to “Children’s Ministry.” From there you will enter on the second floor and follow the signs to “Recovery.”

Freedom groups put Christ at the center of all the healing and rely solely on God’s word as its authority and counsel. We are an authentic community of Christ-followers; relentless in helping each other experience intimacy with the Lord, and are committed to glorifying our Lord through regenerated lives.

At some level we all experience brokenness. We believe that people can experience growth and new life by working through the healing path God has given us in the Bible. The mission of this biblically based step program is to call all people to be fully devoted followers of Christ. our experience and prayer is that you will find freedom from your struggles through Jesus.

So whether you are struggling with substance abuse, codependency, pornography, eating disorders, depression, emotional/physical abuse, homosexuality, anger or obsessive thoughts – or if you are just stuck in a particular area of life, come as you are and find that God wants to heal you. He loves you and has a plan for you.

Groundwork groups (separate for men and women) are small groups that intentionally work in community to build trust through honest sharing about struggles. groundwork groups are a great place for anyone to establish and continue daily practices for healing, joy, and freedom.

Small groups are closed groups (separate for men and women) where you walk through the need for God’s graces and how respond to that – the only promise for lasting freedom. Small groups are biblically based step groups purposed to equip participants with an awareness of God, self and others from an internal shift of the heart to step into God’s plan for a life well lived.
