The Support & Recovery Ministry of 12Stone offers two paths to spiritual and emotional healing:

Pastoral Guidance

Each day someone from our pastoral team is available to speak and pray with you. While not professional counselors, our pastoral team is available to assist you through prayer and referral to a specific ministry area or a licensed professional counselor that can address your situation. You can contact the pastor on call by dialing 678-990-8100 ext 451.

Divorce Care Groups

Divorce Care groups are designed for people struggling with the trauma of divorce. People who understand what you are going through and want to help are trained to come alongside you. You will gain access to guidance from experts on divorce and recovery issues.

Groups offered at 12Stone are:

  • Divorce Care for Kids (DC4K) – Divorce Care for Kids (ages 5-12) assists a child in the healing process who has experienced the loss of a parent through divorce or death. Many of these children struggle with a variety of feelings they do not know how to express. DC4K is a fun, safe and exciting way for them to learn to understand their feelings and feel God’s love. Support Groups

Support groups meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:45pm in Studio B at the Lawrenceville Campus.

From Highway 20, follow the parking signs to “Children’s Ministry.” From there you will enter on the second floor and follow the signs to “Recovery.”

Parents of Addicted Children (of all ages)

The parent support group brings together parents of children who are struggling with addictions or other life-controlling issues.

Men’s and Women’s Mixed Issues (separate groups)

The mixed issue support groups deal with internal struggles including (but not limited to) co-dependence, depression and abuse.

Men’s and Women’s Alcohol and Chemical

The alcohol and chemical support groups focus on substance dependency and the life issues that surround addiction. These addictions include alcohol, illegal drugs, prescription drugs, eating disorders or any other externally introduced substance.

Men’s Sexual Addiction

The sexual addiction support group deals with men struggling with addictions to sex and pornography.

Men’s Anger

The men’s anger support group addresses the nature, root cause and healing from inappropriate, violent and unhealthy anger.
All recovery groups maintain a strict policy of confidentiality and anonymity
