We are excited to partner with you as you guide your elementary students in their faith! Below, you will find details about the lesson we learned this week and a helpful activity to reinforce the lesson at home.
This week we watched a video about conquering our fear. We learned that God is always with us, and He can help us conquer our fears: “When I’m afraid, I put my trust in you” (Psalm 56:3).
Next weekend, we will continue with our study of the different parables of Jesus.
Memory Verse: Mark 6:34
“He had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.”
Home Activity: Campout
As a family, camp out in the backyard under the stars. As you look at the stars together, remind your child that God is so big and powerful that He was able to make every star in the sky; yet He cares about each and every one of us more! Together, share the things that scare you. Remind one another that our big and powerful God will never leave us and can help us when we’re afraid.
