This trip is designed for college aged adults, ages 18-25.
Come alongside longtime Wesleyan missionaries from Global Partners and show the people of Cambodia a kind of love they have never seen before. Tell about the love, grace, and forgiveness of Jesus that they so desperately long for.
With 50% of the population being younger than 22 years old, a major focus of this ministry is the youth. To begin your trip, you will visit the Killing Fields as a part of a cultural orientation to better understand and gain a heart for the people you are there to serve. You and your team’s time will be heavily invested into sports clinics during the day and English conversation classes in the evenings. You will also likely have the opportunity to pray for and encourage local pastors as well as pray for families during home visits!
No training is needed! If you can kick or throw a ball and speak English, you are overqualified for this trip!

Around 90% of the population in the Kingdom of Cambodia is known as the Khmer people, who speak the national language of Khmer, and are indigenous to the Mekong Delta region. Of the over 15 million people who call Cambodia home, just over 1% identify as Christian. The Khmer people have suffered mightily from the evil of genocide. During a four-year period beginning in 1975, the Khmer Rogue came to power with the idea of radical racial cleansing. It is estimated that up to 3 million people were killed during this time, many of which were dumped in mass graves known as the Killing Fields. As a result of this great tragedy, many people still suffer from the hurt of this dark past.
