This trip to the ancient Biblical town of Jericho is one tactfully designed by our partner ministry, Seeds of Hope. The goal of the trip is to help the ministry expand into new territory as they are currently focused on building a partnership with the local schools. The team will be made up of a group of career professionals in various fields (ex: Engineering, Health, Business, Finance, IT, Communications, Law, etc.) Each day you will spend time building relationships in the local community. There will also be an opportunity to share about your profession in the middle and high schools in front of an assembly environment. You will also be involved in group activities with elementary school children. This is a simple, yet tangible way for you and your team to demonstrate the love and peace of Christ. While you are there you will also have the opportunity to tour parts of the Holy Land!

Israel and the West Bank are geographical locations that need no introduction. From the 12 tribes of Israel crossing the Jordan River into the Promised Land to Joshua’s men marching around the walled city and Jesus calling Zacchaeus down from the tree – the land of Jericho is one full of Biblical history. Once a thriving and God fearing land, Jericho is now a place of spiritual darkness with a minuscule number of followers of Jesus Christ calling it home. Islam is the dominant religion and the entire culture identifies itself with traditional Muslim life. While 99% of the people in Jericho are not Christians, their lives are still surrounded by Biblical history. Take a day or two on your trip to visit some of those places and see the Holy Land. Open your Bible to read about the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the empty tomb, then look up from your Bible and explore the tomb yourself!
