Team members will use their gifts to work alongside the people of a 410 Bridge community, focusing on strategic medical service projects, including offering medical clinics and training community healthcare providers. Medical teams focus on a combination of treatment, health education, and evangelism, serving alongside local leaders, community members, and children while building relationships and sharing the love of Christ through meeting their medical needs. Other ministry opportunities on this trip may include home visits, prayer walks, and worshiping at church. (Note: Additional medical supplies and medication are required for medical trips).
Not a doctor or a nurse? No problem! Non-medical personnel are highly valued and necessary members of the team. An ideal medical team will consist of half medical personnel (doctors, nurses, PAs, EMTs, etc.) and half lay people.

While being one of the stronger countries in East Africa, nearly half Kenya’s 43 million people live below the poverty line or are unable to meet their daily nutritional requirements. Poverty and food insecurity are acute in the country’s arid and semi-arid lands, which have been severely affected by recurrent droughts. Easily curable and preventable sickness have run rampant in rural communities for generations.
