I’m remarried. Is that talked about in the Bible?

There are three cases in which remarriage is permissible: if you were divorced because your spouse committed adultery, if you were divorced by an unbelieving spouse, or if your spouse dies. (Then you must only remarry a believer). In all other instances, the Bible views re-marriage as sin because, from a Christian worldview, you are married for life.

Be careful not to discount God’s word and look for excuses to end your marriage.  If you believe God can give you a future, blessed marriage with a new spouse, that same God is more than able to heal and transform the marriage to which you’re currently committed.
