How do I share my faith with nonbelievers?

Be on the lookout for opportunities to share your faith with the people God puts in your path – your neighbors, co-workers, the people you encounter at your kids’ sporting events. You don’t have to have all the answers.  You have your own personal story of what God has done in your life!

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

1 Peter 3:15

The Principle of Multiplication

Scripture: Luke 9:12-17

1. It has to be blessed before it can multiply.

2. It has to be given away before it can multiply.

What God asked of Robert to get his finances in order:

  • Get out of debt.
  • Don’t manipulate.
  • Give.

Response: What is God asking you to do to be blessed?

The Church

Scripture: Acts 1-4

Dedicated to Three Things:

  1. Strive for Unity
  2. Strive for Purity
  3. Strive for Maturity

Reflect: Do you need to repent? Return? Rededicate?

Holy Impossible

Scripture: Exodus 25-27, 40

1) It’s IMPOSSIBLE for God to be made Unholy. (God cannot sin)

2) It’s IMPOSSIBLE to be made Holy without the Shedding of Blood. (The Tabernacle)
– Without shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin.
– Lamb at Brazen Alter: Temporary, substitutionary, sacrifice.

3) Without Faith, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to please God.

Great Land

Scripture: Exodus 1-4, 20

3 Things Moses Learned (that all need to learn):

1) Never confuse “In Charge” with “In Control”.

2) Never lower the standard.

3) Always “GO” after God’s Agenda. (because God makes the wall fall)

Reflect: Where are you ‘lowering the standard’?

A Promising Turn

Scripture: Genesis 12-17

triangle

Three things Abraham teaches us for everybody’s story:

  1. Life Principle: A broken relationship needs to Restore Trust.
  2. God’s Promise: (Abraham Trust Me)
    • Great Nation
    • Great Land
    • Great Messiah
  3. My Practice: Lean into God’s Promises More than my Pressures.

Reflect: Do you focus more in your pressures? Or Gods promises?
