Sugarloaf's Next Generation
We believe the next generation is the hope and future of the Church. From the Nursery to High School, we want the next generation to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference. Every kids and student environment is created to help them begin their faith journey and relish in their relationship with God.
From high-energy worship to exciting games and creative crafts, our Sunday Morning Kids Worship is designed for kids from nursery through 5th grade. It’s a place where kids connect with friends, grow in faith, and experience the joy of worship in a safe and fun environment. Join us this Sunday and let your kids discover the excitement of following Jesus!
Buddies at 12Stone is designed to provide inclusive support to help your children ages 2 through 5th grade with special needs transition smoothly into one of our worship environments with other peers.
Our goal is to help them participate at their comfort level, build a community of friends, and learn about the love of Jesus while receiving the intentional support of a Buddy.
Looking for a fun hangout with friends, games, and inspiring talks? Join our Middle & High School Student Ministries every Wednesday night from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at every campus! Make new friends, grow your faith, and enjoy a welcoming community. Bring a friend!
We exist to help 18–25-year-olds take their next step to build a thriving relationship with God and an authentic connection to His people. We believe that young adults are looking for identity and purpose that can only be found in Jesus.
What’s Happening at Sugarloaf
Meet the Sugarloaf Pastor
I'm Michael Lumpkin; my wife Candace and I serve the Sugarloaf Campus with our family. My road to Sugarloaf took a few turns: I started at the Snellville campus as a spiritual formation pastor in 2019, then came over to Sugarloaf as interim campus pastor at the end of 2020 while we piloted broadcast services here. A year later, I was invited to step in as campus pastor, and here we are!
When I'm not at church, life is full: time with my family, the gym, camping, hiking, coaching my sons' soccer teams, and chasing down new places to visit out west. Anything at the lake or the beach, count me in. And I'll go ahead and admit it, I'm a big Survivor fan.
What I'm most passionate about sounds simple, but it's everything: pointing people to Jesus. Christ for you; that's the best I've got to offer, and the well never runs dry. Every part of ministry comes back to that.
What I love about our campus is its heart. The Sugarloaf congregation is the most ready-to-serve group I've ever met. Needs don't go unmet here, meals show up, and nobody gets forgotten. They're humble, joyful, and genuinely happy to be here.
The verse that anchors me is Hebrews 12:2 — fixing our eyes on Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith. No matter what life throws at us, that's where we look.
Here's the honest truth about me: the Savior I'll point you to is the same one I desperately need. I'm just a fellow patient in the waiting room of the Great Physician. We're a humble crowd who love Christ and love people, and we'd love for you to join us.
